KUSANAGI App Manual

This manual is applicable to those who have already registered with the KUSANAGI App and completed the registration of a virtual machine with “KUSANAGI Security Edition”. For information on registering a virtual machine, see the KUSANAGI Security Edition – Quick Start.

KUSANAGI App

KUSANAGI App is a SaaS service that better streamlines the operation of KUSANAGI Security Edition. In cooperation with KUSANAGI Security Edition, it emails the results of security audits, automatic updates, and malware detection, along with specific countermeasures.

This service can streamline CMS security operations involving multiple servers, staff members, production companies, etc.

How to Use the KUSANAGI App

This section explains how to manage your account and send automatic emails using the KUSANAGI App.

Changing Account Information (Account Settings)

Changing the username and email address:
Enter your new username and email address, then click the “Update Account” button to apply the changes. If you change your email address, please send a test email to make sure it is receiving.

Changing the password:
Go to the “Change Password” tab, enter the required information, then click the “Update Password” button to set the new password.

Sending a Test Email

Confirm that the “Email Test” destination email address is correct, enter a test message, then click “Send Test Email” to send the email.

Analyzer Emails

Severity Level of Alerts

Each email from Analyzer will contain the severity level of the alert. Severity levels are explained as follows.
